Convict lake is a popular fishing spot in a beautiful setting in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Despite having a somewhat ominous label, it is a truly beautiful creation that sits nestled in the Sierras. This photograph was taken March 8, 2016 after a much welcomed snow storm dumped up to 36 inches in some areas.
