With my guide and driver having safely transported me along the adventurous road to Hana, this interesting little cove just north of the town caught my eye as I stretched my legs in Wai’anapanapa State Park. The violently swirling water alternated between beautiful aqua and a foamy white. It was delivering quite a thrashing to the enclosed black rock facing. I had to get right on top of it near the edge to capture the full effect. It was a bit unnerving and adventurous, but all that action was just too interesting to pass up. If you zoom in you’ll see the people enjoying themselves on the shore of Honokalani Beach in the distance.
