Description
The spring of 2019 in California will go down as one of the most abundant super blooms in the history of the state. With the crowds at Walker Canyon causing road closures and other general havoc to this normally quite area near Lake Elsinore, I was hesitant to take on the task of capturing this rare proliferation of wild flowers on the hillsides. Fortunately I arrived during a brief window of time on Tuesday, March 19 when the roads were temporarily open and was able to make off with this crazy large panorama that needs no words to describe it. If you zoom in you will see the patches of purple Wild Canterbury Bells among the orange poppies.
